imageAt Redwood Hills, Serving happens when we connect with people through the passions and interests God has given each of us. As a church, we look for ways to use those passions to express God in...

Our world - by speaking and acting against injustice and giving a voice for those who have no voice.

Our community - by partnering with local organizations to provide love and support to our neighbors.

Our church - by working to meet each others needs and discovering new ways to reveal God in our daily lives.

City of Kirkland Park Cleanup - Next Cleanup: April 24, 9-noon at Kirkland Juanita Park [see details below for details and the next park cleanup dates!]: Redwood Hills partners with the City of Kirkland Parks Department and Green Kirkland to improve our local parks, streams, and forests. By taking the time to serve our community, we make our city beautiful and provide new ways for our neighbors to experience God's creation. This is a great opportunity for anyone who desires to serve their community in a way that cares for our earth and makes the parks in our city more beautiful.

Dinners for KITH [see details below for the next KITH dinner dates!]: Redwood Hills is proud to partner with Kirkland Interfaith Transitional Housing (KITH). KITH assists individuals and families on the Eastside who are facing a homelessness crisis by providing housing and services to help them become stable and self-sufficient. Every Tuesday night at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Kirkland, KITH hosts a community dinner that bring these needy families together for a great dinner and encouragement. On a regular basis, Redwood Hills provides this meal and encouragement to our neighbors in need.

MOPS: Mothers Of PreSchoolers (MOPS) is a very important piece to Redwood Hills’ outreach to our community!  MOPS meets at Juanita Elementary School on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. The meeting gets started at 7PM and goes until 9PM.  For more information, please contact Christalle Hamilton (christallehamilton@verizon.net).

Holidays at Seattle Union Gospel Mission: Every holiday season, people from the Redwood Hills community step away from their own holiday dinners to serve the homeless at the Seattle Union Gospel Mission. By taking time from our own celebrations, we become more aware of God's love and generosity to those in need. This is a fun and great way to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas night!
